A paper on stakeholder involvement in creating evidence for policy making involving AIDE Project members has been published
A paper on stakeholder involvement in creating evidence for policy making was published in the English journal Research Involvement and Engagement on November 29th. The research was led by Professor Kazuto Kato, and involved three other AIDE project researchers, Professor Beverley Yamamoto, Professor Yashushi Matsumura, Dr Atsushi Kogetsu as well as Advisory Board member Midori Senoo. The paper reports on a three-year project to bring together rare disease patients, researchers and policy makers to consider how to generate evidence for policy priority setting for medical research. Some of the patients or family members of patients in the project were also co-authors on the paper.
